Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will see the game schedule for each weekend as well.  All games will be played on the Villanova University water-based turf. For athletes who have to catch a flight on Sunday, we can try our best to put you on a team that has games earlier within that time frame.  Email us: [email protected]

The week prior to each weekend, we will release the groups and teams so that individuals know what time their sessions will be and what group and team they are a part of.

PHYSIOLOGICAL ASSESSMENTS

FULL FIELD GAMES

The tentative game schedule for each weekend is available (scroll to the bottom of the page): VIEW GAME SCHEDULE

We will keep an up-to-date Game Schedule with scores at the Registration Tent.

All games will be played on the Villanova University water-based turf.  Each team will play 2, 25-minute games each day.  There will be 2 minutes in between most games and 5 minutes in between games If any team has to play back-to-back games.  Teams will warm-up on Field #1 and should be ready to step on the field and play immediately following the previous game.  We will water the field before the games start each day and at the short break in-between age groups.

Each day a team will have 2 coaches who coach them through both games, allowing teams to have some consistency each day, but also have the opportunity to play for and learn from 4 different coaches throughout the weekend.

One “Player of the Game” will be named for each team for each game played.  We will post these on the website and also at the Registration Tent.

GOALKEEPERS

For Physiological Assessments: Goalkeepers will be a part of the same physiological assessments as field players, except for the agility portion.  They will do a 5-10-5 agility in place of the 505 and Reverse 505.  See the Physiological Assessment page for more on that.  Goalkeepers will run through the assessments in a group with all goalkeepers.

For Skills Sessions: Goalkeepers will do separate GK training down on Field #1 and also be incorporated into the field player drills when possible.

July 31-Aug 1: Goalkeepers will be split into 2 groups (classes combined)
August 7-8: Goalkeepers will be split into 2 groups (classes combined)

For Games: 2 goalkeepers will be assigned to each team for each game.  There will also be additional goalkeeper training going on Field #1 during games.

PLAYER EVALUATION

Each athlete will receive a comprehensive player evaluation that will cover all areas of the weekend: physiological, skills, small game play, full field game play, and more.  The Player Evaluation is created as a tool for development: providing athletes with an understanding of where they are at in all areas of their game, what their strengths are and areas they can improve.  We will be compiling data by class and sharing it so athletes can see how they compare to their class as a whole.  This will enable athletes to see where their skills/game may need more work to hit the average or to move them to the top of the class.

Evaluations will be available online at the nationalplayercombine.com website within 48 hours of the completion of the weekend.  Athletes will be required to login to view these.  They will set to private as default.  If you would like to share your evaluation with your coach, trainer, or for recruiting purposes, you will have the option to make it public and then you will just share the url.  Your highlight video will also be present on the online Player Evaluation once it has been uploaded (within 2 weeks of the event).

HIGHLIGHT VIDEO

All athletes will receive a personal highlight video of their play from the weekend within 2 weeks of the event you participated in.  This highlight video is included in the combine fee!  You do not have to pay extra.  Once your video is ready, it will be added to your Player Evaluation page.  You will also receive an email with instructions on how to download your video and how to access and download all footage from the weekend if you wish to view additional footage and/or create your own video.

TOP PERFORMERS

We will be naming the Top 1/3 of performers for each class each weekend.  Selections will be based on cumulative performance throughout all sessions of the weekend.  The selected athletes will be posted on the nationalplayercombine.com website within 48 hours of the finish of each weekend.
